National Wireless Safety Alliance to Host Webinar on Accessing Digital Certification Credentials

(Salt Lake City, UT) – The National Wireless Safety Alliance (NWSA) is pleased to announce that it will host a webinar on Wednesday, November 19, from 12:00-1:00 p.m. ET to review how NWSA trade certified technicians and customers can access their digital certification credentials.

The webinar will cover three (3) topics:

  • How to register for the NWSA Portal to access digital credentials
  • How to access digital certification credentials in the candidate profile
  • How to verify credentials using the public verification tool available on the NWSA website

National Wireless Safety Alliance launched digital certification credentials last fall. This feature allows NWSA trade certified technicians and customers to access and verify NWSA credentials instantly on a computer or hand-held device. Digital certification provides significant benefits, including enhanced verification convenience and improved security.

Earlier this year, NWSA announced its transition to fully digital certification and the sunset of physical wallet cards on June 30, 2025.

“As certification cards are no longer available, it is imperative that our customers and industry are knowledgeable about the tools available to verify telecom workers and how to use them,” said Duane MacEntee, Executive Director of NWSA.  “It is equally important that all certified telecom workers register in the NWSA Portal to have access to their digital credentials.”

“Our intention is to have our customers, certified telecom workers, equipped for success,” added Jan Hice-Smith, Customer Care, Outreach, and Communications Coordinator. “The upcoming webinar will provide step-by-step guidance on accessing and verifying credentials.”

Webinar details and registration information will be posted on the NWSA homepage at https://www.nws-a.org and communicated directly to customers.  For questions, please contact customerservice@nws-a.org.
