NWSA Enhances Public Verification Tool with Photos and Certification Status

(Salt Lake City, UT) – The National Wireless Safety Alliance (NWSA) is pleased to announce an enhancement to its public verification tool. Verification search results available on the NWSA website now include the candidate’s photo and certification status, providing greater clarity and confidence for telecom workers, employers, and industry partners.

“This added level of detail strengthens trust in the verification process and gives the industry greater confidence in certified professionals,” said Duane MacEntee, Executive Director of NWSA.  “Our public verification tool is available 24/7 and delivers real-time credential information.”

The public verification tool can be accessed via https://nwsa.useclarus.com/view/verify/ or on the NWSA web site at https://www.nws-a.org/  under the Resources tab.

NWSA Issues Digital Credentials Only

NWSA’s full transition to its digital certification system, initially launched in Fall 2024, is now complete.  Effective June 30, 2025, NWSA no longer issues physical wallet cards.  The digital certification platform provides NWSA-certified professionals, employers, and industry partners with instant access to credential information via mobile or desktop devices. The change to digital credentialing streamlines the verification process and enhances certification integrity and security as a result of real time updates to certification status.  Key benefits of digital credentialing for our customers and industry partners include peace of mind and ease.

IMPORTANT REMINDER TO CERTIFIED WORKERS: NWSA Portal Registration is Required

All NWSA-certified telecom workers must register in the NWSA Portal to have access to their digital credentials. “NWSA strongly recommends that all certified individuals take time now to confirm their registration in the new NWSA Portal to ensure uninterrupted access to their credentials,” said Jaclyn Mangum, Associate Director of Program Management.  Individuals without an existing profile in the NWSA Portal may create one at the Candidate Portal via https://nwsa.useclarus.com/login.
