(Salt Lake City, UT) National Wireless Safety Alliance (NWSA) announced today that the organization has successfully completed the required ANSI National Accreditation Board (ANAB) year one surveillance review process following reaccreditation in 2025.
The year one surveillance review process, led by an ANAB assessment team, ultimately concluded that based on the review of the materials, onsite assessments, and random sampling process, NWSA continues to meet all the requirements set forth in ISO/IEC 17024, as well as ANAB policies and procedures. ANAB’s decision is significant as it equates to continued accreditation to the ISO/EIC 17024 standard for the NWSA’s Telecommunications Tower Technician 1 (TTT-1) and Telecommunications Tower Technician 2 (TTT-2) certification programs.
“Achieving this continued ANSI accreditation news is validation that the NWSA continues to be the gold-standard for professional trade certification programs offered in the communications infrastructure industry. Today’s news enables us to further our mission by continuing to scale our certification programs which ensure that NWSA-certified technicians are deploying wireless carrier network equipment at communication tower sites across the country in a safe and quality manner,” added MacEntee.
