Telecommunications Tower Foreman Task Force Members Needed to Develop New Certification Program
National Wireless Safety Alliance (NWSA) has undertaken the development of its next nationwide certification: Telecommunications Tower Foreman. NWSA's Board of Governors and its Board of Directors have approved this new credential consistent with the needs of the industry and it is scheduled to launch in the 3rd quarter of 2018.
Volunteers for the Task Force that will develop the new program are currently being sought. The Task Force members will be responsible for building industry consensus and for developing content to be used in tests and examinations for this certification program. Task Force members must be able to demonstrate significant expertise in applicable subject areas and be able to devote sufficient time and resources to attending several (approximately ten) in-person meetings, as well as additional virtual/online meetings during the anticipated 12-month development timeframe.

Applications will be reviewed by the Task Force Chairman, and selection factors that will be taken into consideration are industry experience, past involvement with previous NWSA task forces, overall Task Force size and balance among industry sectors, e.g., contractors, carriers, tower owners, trainers, etc.
